Delonte West was indicted on Tuesday for traffic charges stemming from his Sept. 17 arrest for speeding on a motorcycle and carrying multiple weapons. West is a guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers.  The incident took place in on the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County, Md.  West was riding a motorcycle with two loaded handguns and a loaded shotgun.  It’s illegal in Maryland to carry concealed weapons and to transport loaded handguns.

The indictment included two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon, two counts of carrying a handgun, two counts of transporting a handgun, and one count each of reckless driving and negligent driving.

Recently LeBron James, Darnell Jackson and Coby Karl tested positive for Influenza A. They have been treated as if they have the H1N1 virus for extra precautions. As many of you know H1N1, also known as swine flu, is a strain of Influenza A. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics are scheduled to kick off the 2009-10 NBA season.  The schedule was released on Tuesday.  The first game will be on October 27, 2009 on TNT.  Other schedule highlights include the November 6, 2009 game where the cavaliers play the Knicks.  It will be Lebron James first appearance with his possible future home with the Knicks.  With all the trades, this season seems like it will be very interesting.  We will just have to stay tuned.
